i'm going to email Sanken about this too. When I received the mic, I went t=
o fit it into my rycote & as the Rode NT4 was already in there I did a quic=
k test with that, replaced with the Sanken & recorded with exactly the same=
 setting. The Rode NT4 states a enl of 16db but its much noisier than the S=
anken.
