John I had the built-in mic gain/sensitivity set to Hi, and rec level set to 8 of 10. The manual says built-in microphone sensitivity Hi has level value 74dBSPL. Just now I'm running a test to see how long it will record while powering phantom mics with an external USB battery pack.
