Thanks David. =A0I should have likely jumped on the $300 D50. =A0 I have a =
running "wish list" for a bunch of things on ebay, it showed up used(but wi=
th box and everything) with a "buy it now" price of $300. =A0 I hemmed and =
hawed, and it sold in less then a day!

Hi Paul, I have a Sony pcm10, and I have a D50 in for repair (note from Son=
y--"System functional but sluggish control response-Estimate to replace pow=
er/control PCB" $235 plus shipping) but I may abandon it since a new one ru=
ns about $500. It has been a good sturdy machine, backing up my SD702, but =
I would more likely get another M10 unless I could find a D50 for $300 (??)=
. I like the internal mic flexibility of the D50 vs. the M10. I use either=
of them with my Telinga dish.

Aloha,
David

an get one for around $300, but could likely find an M10 for $50 or so less=
then that...so is it worth the extra $50? =A0 I see on the Avisoft list th=
at it may have slightly better noise floor, but at the same time, I hear th=
e external mics(which I will use a bit) are actually better on the m10? =A0=
Just hoping for real world opinions! =A0
