You can't blow through closed cell foam. Sound will reflect off it as=0D
if it was a plastic surface. You don't want that. You can blow through=0D
open cell foam which can vary in density. The more open type is used=0D
in windshields. More dense open cell foam absorbs sound and this is=0D
what is called for.=0D

Have a listen by holding various bath sponges to your ear.=0D
Commercially what you want is higher density sound absorbing open cell=0D
foam (more resistant to being blown through), but if you stick=0D
together several layers, make them edge on. Test samples by listening=0D
to them.=0D
