Martin - I own two Telinga's and have used them for years. The dish is flexible and under the certain conditions the movement can create some faint noise where the dish clamps to the handle. I corrected this minor problem by placing a ring of cork gasket material between the clamping rings and both sides of the dish. You can buy the gasket material at most automotive stores, what I use is about 1/16 " thick.
