Peter,

Audacity is open source and has quite a good sonogram. I don't know
what rights would be involved in using their code.

I generated a sonogram image matching one of my tracks and placed it
under the Soundcloud code. There was too much going on to see a clear
sonogram. It would have to be dynamic and scrolling with the playback.
