I've occasionally run as much as 150 yards (138 meters), AT3032 > Fostex FR=
-2LE, also with no degradation that I could hear.

Me too. It's much less elegant than a nice flexible multi-cable like Star Q=
uad, but considerably less expensive. And like Dan Dugan says, XLR connecto=
rs along the path are no problem if you can keep them relatively clean and =
dry.

Unfortunately, I've manage to pick up Poison Ivy a couple times coiling up =
these long cable runs in remote northern forests.
