Hi All,

It's been a while since I've shared a recording with the list. This was made on
a recent trip to the the Northern Flinders Ranges in South Australia. I was
actually surprised that I could find anything usable from this location, as a
crew working on the road to Arkaroola fired up the grader at 6am, and the usual
jet flyovers filled in most of the gaps.

Between the noise however was a very gentle dawn chorus with Rufous Whistler,
Wille Wagtail and Variegated Fairy Wren prominent. Grey Shrike Thrust, and
Singing and Spiny-cheeked Honeyeaters are also present.

The recording was made with a SASS/PBB type rig fitted with AT3032, and a Sound
Devices 722 recorder.
