would be interesting to hear the difference in sound or at least have someone tell about it. and the selfnoise.. the mkh800 has 12dba, the 8040 13dbs, so this should be similar, but the sensitivity from the 800 is 40mv/pa and the 8040 just 20.. anybody can give me a hint?
