Thank you for the responses ( Vicki and Ray) I am using: mic sens Hi , with rec level 8-10 Currently I am recording in my back yard to get a feel for the LS-10 Early AM and Early Evening(relatively quiet times) , mostly a very chatty M= ocking-Bird, a neighbor's parrot, Mourning Doves. I plan to record at what I call "Three Acre Marsh" which is in a very rural= area, bordered by a State Park and a cattle ranch. I usually record pre dawn, dawn, late afternoon and evening. At this point, I am using the internal mics of the recorder and an external= single point stereo mic. Thanks again John-Rusting Iron |
