Ascending weeet calls from male Wood Ducks. Background birds are Sandhill Cranes and Mallards. The splashing sound are Mallards landing followed by the females quacking. They were recorded during a delightfully soft rain a= t the Rio Grande Nature Center in Albuquerque, NM, on10/21/2000, at 2:49 pm. http://soundcloud.com/fundador/0159-27-123-wodu-e1 Thanks to Martyn for setting up the SoundCloud site for the groups use.
