this is helpful, klas. musicians don't know the olympus recorders. further, I've heard complaints with the sony stereo array. and, yes, I thought the bass roll off eliminated some of the lower end frequencies with the olympus (you're saying it doesn't) I felt concern about the sony menus (the sony does have level wheels). re clip on's - I was speaking of sound clips (segments of recorded sound).= HOWEVER, I'm glad you thought I meant clip-on-mics, because I use them myse= lf and want much better "binaural" mics. As well as a better small recorder (I= bought the edirol hr09; also, have the fostex fr-2le). Thus, for me, limite= d PIP would be a problem. I'll pass this along. Many many thanks. lily |
