Hi Kiran,

I use a LS-11 with a ME66/K6 or or on occasion, a ME67/K6, both with the
foam windscreen and pistol grip and I find that having a camera strap
attached to the base of the pistol grip and letting it hang from my
shoulder works best. The foam windscreen gives plenty of protection for
the microphone and it hangs at my side in easy reach when I'm not
holding it at the ready or recording. I've found this is far less
cumbersome and easier to use than any case, holster, or scabbard I have
tried.

As to Sennheiser headphones, Sennheiser makes great variety, I find the
Sennheiser PMX-60 to be a very good choice for field work, they are
light weight over the ear type, have a neck band which is ideal when
wearing a hat as I do in the field, and provide very good sound without
costing a lot of money. I also use a set of Sony in-ear type but find
the in-ear type to be very tiring for extended use, the PMX-60's are
better for extended use I find.

As to carrying gear, I prefer a Kata 3n1-30 Sling Backpack. This clever
bag holds a lot of gear easily accessible and can can be carried as a
backpack or by how you configure the straps as a sling bag slung over
your shoulder and easily pulled around in front of you to manipulate
your gear. There are a number of this type of bags available, most of
the camera bag makers offer bags of this style and the choice is
practically limitless.
