as I am having a problem with my recorder' s pre-amp section and I found a=
 bargain HHB dat recorder,

I ' ve been wondering if I can use it in combo with my recorder,

lots of DAT recorders feature digital outputs, but do they work simultaneou=
sly ??

I mean if I just plug a mike in the DAT with no tape in would I still have =
a digital output to drive my solid state recorder ??
