I think that some website has its signals crossed here. The PD-606 has the 1.30 FW with the new battery management, etc. The FR2-LE is still @ version 1.20. I would not trust *any* memory recorder= FW from a third-party download site; I get it straight from the manufacturer. = Then maybe it's real (but perhaps still not free from bugs!).
