spring peepers and Harley 'cycle

Subject: spring peepers and Harley 'cycle

The URL (below) has been what we've been seeing/hearing for a long
time, now. First noted and described in 1984 (chorusing Pacific spade-
foot toads at Mono Lake, CA disturbed by jet flyover) this cause-
effect noise (anthrophony) vs biophony is central to our work. This
example was recorded by my colleague, Stuart Gage, Professor Emeritus,
the Environsonics Program at Michigan State Univ. recently.
