hi,

you won't get a recording of the frequency range you're looking for
with an AT 4022, as the mic is specified only up to 20 kHz. or, to be
precise, you won't get significant signals above 20 kHz from it =96 it
might transmit frequencies above that, but if there are none in your
recording, you won't know if it's because they are not there or
because they were not taken by the mic.

with mics for audio recording usually the electronic is the stage that
doesn't go much higher than the human hearing limit (exceptions are
remarkable, e.g. schoeps produces a mic body that has an extended
range up to 40 kHz, the model cmc 6 xt), condenser capsules mostly can
deliver dozens of khz. so you probably better use a microphone built
for measurement purposes.
