You can export the audio from the movie file with QuickTime.

Without knowing what movie file format you have, I have used "Goldwave" to=
convert .avi format movie files from my Nikon DSLR camera into sound files=
and then load them into Audacity for editing. Goldwave is not a free
program however has a free trial mode. Another program to convert video
files is Prism, which is free for home use.
