Hi Everyone
I have been posting a lot recently asking for species identifications
and have been incredibly lucky to stumble into quite a number of very
skilled and passionate recordists who have a great ear for species.
Thanks to you all!
Keeping with this theme, I have a project in the works that I could
use some identification assistance on. It is from one of the many
recordings made in the Brazilian Amazon during Francisco Lopez's
Mamori Sound Project in 2009. The recording is of dawn and early
morning at the edge of a tributary to Lake Mamori. It runs about two
hours and is taken from a much longer overnight recording. To my
untrained ear there are dozens of calling species representing birds,
mammals, insects, amphibians: you name it (literally :).
If you are a professional and could make quick work of the recording,
let's work something out! If you happen to know someone who is
available and capable but may not be reading this list, your help in
contacting them would be greatly appreciated.
If you are not a professional but think you could also make a few
identifications I would like to hear from you too.
Here are some fragments from the full length to entice

Send me a message via SoundCloud or to my personal email address (I
will not get the message if it is sent through Yahoo! Groups).
Thanks!
