Yes, handling noise is very much a problem with this mike and any high gain=
mic. There are a number of DIY shock mounts that you can make or purchase =
the Sennhieser shock mount and use a boom. You have to be careful of the ca=
ble as well as it will transmit sound to the mic. Once you get a shock moun=
t and a boom you'll get the hang of it very quickly and make handling noise=
free recordings.
