Hi All,
Despite some wet and windy weather making recording a little tricky I manag=
ed to make a few recordings a couple of weeks ago. These are pretty much "=
solo" recordings rather than dawn choruses but still fairly interesting.
The first was made at a fairly remote location in the Murray Sunset Nationa=
l Park. The recording is of Hooded Robin ("laughing")and Red Capped Robin =
("telephone ring") calling in the predawn darkness.

tional-park
The second was made shortly after dawn at Lake Hattah, and is of a sole Pie=
d Butcherbird calling from a gum beside the now almost full Lake Little Hat=
tah. The lake system has be close to dry for years, but has received subst=
antial environmental water flows this year. The is some low level vehicle n=
oise in this recording but it's not too obtrusive.

Both these recordings were made with my SBRS rig (a sass-like design) AT303=
2's and Sound Devices 722.
cheers
Paul
