Mark- The AT4022's are very close to the AT3032's in performance. The former has a tad more in the lowest two octaves. There are links to comparison tests of this in the list archive. Walter Knapp's site has the SASS-P mod with AT3032s and back to back recordings with the SASS-P/MKH-20 mod. The DIY Boundary Mics blog has an edited version of this comparison with discussion.
