Friends,

Earlier this year Rob Danielsen put time and hard work into writing a group FAQ
to which others have contributed. It is a great resource guide for basic
issues, but I still see "start up" questions coming in which the generous souls
on this group then answer. Today when looking for it myself I realised that
there is no evidence of its existence on the site. To be used folks need to
know how to find it.

(its here: https://docs.google.com/View?id=dcvd49w8_23fbw2vqg2)

I would like to re-iterate a suggestion made some weeks ago by Gerald White to
post a link on the home page to this - it could be in the introduction text or
maybe better still as a menu item in the top left box where it could be easily
spotted by a newcomer (some of those menu items never seem to be used and could
be deleted). This may save a few postings and help folks just starting out into
an easier journey.

Of course it needs to be done by those with editing rights, and also makes the
assumption that Rob feels it is ready to have it posted this way.

Just a thought. Rob ? Editors ?

Chris
