Doug, You need to go into the settngs and tell the unit which type of batteries y= ou are using, then you will get more life. Mike >I'm having trouble getting more than about an hour's recording from my >Fostex FR2-LE, regardless of the battery type. In fact the Tamiya battery= >seems to offer less life than 4 AA alkalines.
