to an $80 STEREO PIP mic.=C2=A0 Liked it slightly better, but it didn't re=
ally do me.=C2=A0 Got a mic preamp and decent LDC used $250 and wow, what a=
difference.=C2=A0 Didn't much care for the preamp and got an interface $80=
and wow, what a difference.=C2=A0 I got tired of the 10+ minute setup and =
teardown that a laptop required, plus the other limits if you didn't have A=
/C power and got a field recorder.=C2=A0 And wow, what a difference.=C2=A0 =
Got this, got that, and several years later I know have $2K+ in gear.=C2=A0=
If you factor in total costs over time less resale value, it costs me far =
less than cable television would have cost me over that same amount of time=
.=C2=A0 To each their own though.
