I tried to do the same last winter but didnt th= ink of trying it with a hydrophone.=A0The ice makes huge booming sounds as it c= racks here=A0in Nova Scotia, likely because its so thick=A0and you can hear it fo= r a few hundred feet or more.=A0Perhaps this year with a hydrophone then!
