Well, after running the numbers for the dimensions of the Wok I have, it
turns out a 4" focal length would be ideal. However, as you can see in the=

Either my calculations are off or there is an area for this dish that is
not a true parabola however it can not be far off... As it focuses the sun=
to a 3/32" dia spot and a microphone has a larger window of acceptance, for=
the ones I plan to use in my testing, about 1/2" diameter, (3/4" dia.
pencil body), I'm not overly concerned about a loss of efficiency and will=
continue with my testing.
However, the dish will get a coat of flat black Rustoleum grill paint so I=
don't accidently cook a microphone!!!
