I agree, I'm suspicious that not all the pan is holding that tight, meaning=

has the same focal length.  The numbers I have so far lead me to believe
the largest diameter area near the rim is too far out to be a perfect
parabola however a quick simple test of moving the stick up and down did
indicate its not very far out. The real test will be to see if sounds loose=

brilliance due to a phase shift.

For cost of a $19.95 wok, its a good way to start experimenting as I see
it, sets a base level of experience to start with and improve upon...

If it works as well as initial tests indicate, next step will be hanging a=

microphone in front of it and then I'll be able to see what the effect is
and hopefully get an idea if my theory about long range work is feasible
before spending gobs of time, effort, and money on what will probably turn=

into a long term project.  Being retired, time I have...
