hi rob,
i will ask them today,
interestingly the omni (14dbA) capsules are more noisy than their=A0
cardioids (12dbA)... at least there specs do say that.
http://www.mbho.de/pdf/ka200n_ka400n.pdf and
http://www.mbho.de/pdf/ka100lk_ka100dk_ka300nb.pdf
and in the text it reads that you can use those capsules even with the=A0
mbp648pz..
the KA400 is allready attached, which has a self noise of 11db(A)=A0
together with the 603 A. and a lowcut at 50hz.

if i=B4m honest, its all a little bit strange to me. why are the omnis=A0
noisier than the cardioids? and why is the self noise so excelent if a=A0
capsule is mounted to the plate? (pz)

i asked the guy i phoned with from mbho what is their most silent mic,=A0
an he says that i just should try them. he would not wanted to talk=A0
too much about the specs..
