ger Date: Mon Jul 5, 2010 4:48 pm ((PDT)) I want to make a cable to interface with my 5 pin cable that stays on the r= ecorder but that would go to only one mic ( an ME66). The mic will be power= ed by phantom power from the SD 702. In the past I had a Y cable that feed = the output from the mic to both channels of a Sony TCD-D10 pro II and also = supplied phantom power over that cable. Would wiring the cable to act as a Y cable work with the SD 702 and ME66? I= S there any danger is sending the phantom power to a single mic using a Y c= able configuration?
