Thanks John,
It was such a perfect, blank space too. Reports have ranged from ease
to great difficulty. As you experienced,  folks with Google accounts
are getting the worst of it. Not what Google prefers I'm sure.  Its
currently, set to "anyone with the link can edit" mode but the shared
editors option was a bust.  Now, some people who have never used
Google docs before, just follow the link and start editing. Clearly
the programming needs some maintenance.

When anyone gets a prompt saying they need to ask permission to get
access, go ahead and click that button. Its easy for me to grant it
and it can reduce the number of hurdles. After we learn what access
system works the best, we can copy what we've done, upload it as new
doc and start over with new settings/urls. I'll probably try that at
some point. I appreciate the trouble-shooting help from everyone. Rob
