I am selling my barely used (which is why I'm selling it) Marantz PMD-661, that
I had modded by Doug Oade in Jan. He did the 'Ambient' mod (which is listed on
his site as only or the PMD-660 but I had him do it for my PMD-661, he said it
was not problem, he just needed to update his site. Here is a description of

If you are interested in extremely quiet recordings, there is not much quieter
than this.
The mod cost $150.
I will sell the recorder, which is in very great condition (no issues or
scratches), for $500, shipped.
This is an amazingly quiet recorder. I am only selling it because after I got
it I have not been able to use it due to some changing priorities. This is an
amazing recorder.
