Chris, I am most impressed with your site, into which you have obviously put a lot of work. When I poked around a little bit, I was drawn to the section on the Skylark, and the sound took me back several decades to when I was growing up in Hampshire. Back then, Skylarks were quite common in southern England, and it fascinated me to watch them soar and soar, singing constantly, until they became invisible. Your recordings, together with the photographs, were very evocative, and I look forward to exploring more of your site. Thank you, Ray On 6/6/2010 11:09, chrishails50 wrote: > > Dear friends, > > > > I now have it at a decent size, and have recently finished off one or > two "niceties", so I'd like to invite you all to have a look at > www.wildechoes.org and tell me what you think. > |
