Yahoo has a media player which is easy to implement and is free. You have
to host your own files. And it is branded as a Yahoo thing.

A lot of blogging systems implement some sort of built-in player as well.
Try tumblr.com for instance.
Of course, none of these let you do simple you-tube style embed code like
Soundcloud does.
