I made this recording from our bedroom in a Sydney suburb about 3 miles fro= m the CBD. This cuckoo is the largest parasitic cuckoo in Australia. They migrate from New Guinea and islands north of us. The main bird they parasitise is the Pied Currawong. Stuart. |
