Sorry to hear - that's a staggering loss.

By the way, Sound Devices recorders stamp their serial number into the meta=
data.

Search for Jeff Wexler's forum - a lot of film production sound people
hang out there - I believe there may even be a registry for stolen
gear.

Also report it to Sound Devices.
