Re: Sound Devices 702 on ebay CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!

Dear Naturerecordingists,
I lost to theft a SD 702, a SD MixPre, and two Sennheiser MKH20 mic's in a =
car
break-in on the Island of Hawai`i on April 15 2010.
I have serial numbers on all but the Mixpre which I had bought used. The SN=
 on
this 702 does not match, but it's out there somewhere with someone who like=
ly
does not know what it is.

This is a staggering loss to me with little hope of recovering my gear.
I do still have my MS MKH30/40 set-up so I'm not stopped entirely.

Aloha,
David
