<<I have recordings that I would like to clean up some of the background noise (mainly loud highway traffic) so I can have better looking sonograms. Any advice on the best way to do this? >> The standalone version of Izotope RX is extremely powerful. The Spectral Repair module within RX can very effectively remove or reduce many types of unwanted noise. It is, however, very labor intensive work with the mouse & involves a bit of a learning curve, but yields excellent results. Scott Fraser |
