Hi Klas--
I agree, but if the performance is significantly
compromised running on PIP, I like your idea of
using a simple battery box.

I believe the Sony M10 and D50 have more PIP
voltage than the very low voltage/current Hi-MD
units you accommodated with the parallel FET's.
I don't own one of the new Sony's and can't
measure it for you, but there should be several
folks like Jerry who I'm sure have tried their
EM23's on one the below top-performing hand-held
recorders and can report to you:

Sony M10,
Sony D50
Marantz PMD620

I'm anxious for someone to try out a pair of your
"Clip Ons" on one of the above recorders. I think
Mike Rooke owns a D50 and he lives in your part
of the world.  Rob D.
