Yes, I would like to replace them if possible. It's beginning to look as if=
the solution is going to be fitting new knobs OVER the existing ones. I am=
at the moment in the process of trying to find suitable candidates for thi=
s . Ideally this would be a reversible situation but, if I found knobs I wa=
s really happy with, I would have no objection to it being permanent. The o=
nly real drawback (?) I see is the extra extension above the level of the t=
op, and finding short knobs is not easy. I may have to end up making them, =
on one of the two model making lathes that I have in storage.
