Gooseberry Surf

Remember that big winter storm in the midwest US last week? It dropped
more than a foot of snow on our own Rob Danielson in southeeast
Wisconsin. North of Minneapolis/St. Paul, snowfall amounts were pretty
light, but the winds were strong. Marine weather forecasts called for
waves on Lake Superior to reach 12-16 feet by Wednesday afternoon
(12/9). I couldn't resist the temptation, so I grabbed a recording kit
and headed to Gooseberry Falls State Park, northeast of Duluth, to see
if I could capture anything good. It's "iffy," but I posted it anyway
