<<I've tried doing some clean up with a demo copy of the Izotope RX Denoiser plugin which seems to work reasonably well, but with the loss of some detail. I'm sure with a real copy and some more fiddling I'd be able to get a better result! As an aside the spectral repair function in RX is phenomenally good at removing things like car door slams!!>> The iZotope RX Spectral Repair module is nothing short of miraculous for any impulse noises. However, I have yet to achieve broadband results I'm happy with using the Denoiser module, although I haven't invested a lot of time in exploring that part of the program. For broadband noise I get very good results with BIAS' SoundSoap Pro. It's expensive but it has paid for itself many times over. Scott Fraser |
