"Most of the net books use the same Intel Atom CPU which is ok but pretty under
powered."

The trade-off is between small size, long battery life and computing power.
The AMD Neo processor is faster, but uses more power than the Atom 270 or 280.
So you have to accept a shorter battery life, or a
more larger, heavier battery. And a higher price.

Here's an example:
HP DV2 -- 3.8 lbs -- 4.5 hours of battery life -- $550
HP Mini 110 -- 2.5 lbs -- 6 hours battery life -- $350

For my uses, the Atom 270 processor works well enough. I just ordered a
refurbished HP Mini 1010NR netbook for $200.
