Hello, Heres a couple of (full) length recordings I made when a recent storm rolled past. Rode NT2A's, ORTF'ish: http://urlme.net/audio/MikeRooke-Contact-AboveTheSilence.mp3 Binaural: Sennheiser MZK2000 head with my own mics. (Headphones on) http://urlme.net/audio/MikeRooke-Contact-PassingStorm-bin.mp3 Both capture the same storm, but have both subtle and dramatic differences. For the NT2A recording very low frequencies can be heard as the storm moves some 50-60 KM north. The dummy head excels at when the lightning is directly above. NT2A Rig -> Fostex FR2-LE MZK/Head -> Edirol R09HR. Kind Regards, -Mike. |
