Is it as simple as buying/making a 30m > earphone extension cable? Or is that too long? I'm using a Fostex > FR-2le. My earphones don't take much power - they say "Impedance: 27 > Ohms nominal". Also can I just use cheap light-weight cable? I've used a 100' extension with no problem. Because of the low impedance source and load, lower resistance is desirable, i.e. larger conductors. But I doubt that the loss from the lightest gauge wire would be significant. -Dan Dugan |
