I am sure there is some amazing recording to be had inside the danger zone =
near Chernobyl! ;)  Supposed to be tons of animals.  I mean how big is the =
exclusion zone?  I'd imagine there is a lot of checking going on around the=
re...if you get too close.  Not that you'd want to at all.  Actually Pripya=
t looks like it's inside the red zone on the map.

That said, it looks fairly promising around where you will be just based on=
 Google maps.  The eastern side of that lake near there looks like it'd be =
good.  You will certainly get some birds that you don't hear in Australia. =
 Looks like you'll be right up against Belarus, not sure how hard or easy i=
t is to travel across borders there, but about 15 miles west of Pripyat loo=
ks pretty green and deserted, at least from the satellite.  Of course I hav=
e never been near there, so this all speculative.  Will you have someone tr=
aveling with you to take you around? Or do you speak Russian or Ukranian?
