Hello Everyone, Not sure if that info reached the list yet, but the BBC has recently launch= ed an interesting project, and I gather many list members could probably pa= rticipate. It's simply called "Save our Sounds" and it's aimed at "mapping = the world" with sound recordings... Here is a link to the web site (should it fail, just go to the BBC World Se= rvice site and search for "Save our Sounds"...) http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/specialreports/saveoursounds.shtml <http:= //www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/specialreports/saveoursounds.shtml> I can imagine how happy they would be if each of us uploaded just one origi= nal soundscape from our home town or region... Best, Dominique Laloux |
