Quiet places in Japan

 Anyway:

Does anyone know any quiet places in Japan? The closer to Tokyo the better =
for me. Also do people have recommendations for time of day? I.e., what tim=
e of day the aeroplanes are quiet? If there are some places which are only =
quiet at night, I'd still be interested to hear about them.

I'm really looking for places with nice natural reverb, like tall forests o=
r ravines etc.
