Locally-owned and faithfully supported businesses are going under
here that were profitable for many, many yeas because of one reason:
people no longer have the extra money to spend on their products.
Hobby shops are definitely among the types of stores that are
closing-up. Maybe your store was trying to eek out a little more
from slow sales? If a person wants to keep-up their hobby, they'll be
paying a larger part of the business costs. Raising the price of the
off-brand items to nearly match that of the name brand items is
beginning to happen too. Rob D,
