This is true, but I assume for the purpose (phonography) that bass is rolle=
d off anyway. Does anyone here want to capture sounds below 50Hz? It's all =
vibration.

I always check a mix with one, yes.

But if you can only afford a little then the low end is what should be sacr=
ificed. Because it costs the most to get right. Compare:
